new news for the bear in me

news about the conservation of Polar Bears has received a press release and according to Center of Biological Diversity there was nothing said about greenhouse gases or the changes to our climate. Polar Bears have been the first species listed on the endangered species list due to the changes we are experiencing with our climate largely due to an increased amount of co2 and other fossil fuels. Ironically nothing was said about it. . . I am wondering why? are you?

I think politics that eliminates the facts is just plain wrong. There is no clear statement about what the causes of the climate change are and thats fine to me at this point. However the facts are there and they prove there are significant changes and the Polar Bears are suffering in the midst of it all.

Center for Biological Diversity says that this rare butterfly from Florida has been granted the protection of the Endangered Species Act. Which means that this little guy and his family, who have been due for protection for quite some time, will get it. Its official and its granted by law! Now with only 200 known to be left it was crucial that these little guys be listed on the endangered species list. After 28 long years of trying them listed, the long struggle has payed off and finally they made it on the list! I can only hope that these beautiful creatures will be savored for the next several generations to come. Best of luck Mr. butterfly!!
